I Am Dina

In Northern Norway during the 1860s, a little girl named Dina accidentally causes her mother's death. Overcome with grief, her father refuses to raise her, leaving her in the care of the household servants. Dina grows up wild and unmanageable, with her only friend being the stable boy, Tomas. She summons her mother's ghost and develops a strange fascination with death as well as a passion for living.

Miss Wonton begins with the arrival of a young Chinese immigrant, Ah Na (Amy Ting), to her new place of work, the Buddha's Happiness in New York. At Buddha's Happiness, she meets other immigrant workers and hears their idiosyncratic dreams of the future. She decides she will do better for herself, and is determined to achieve the American Dream. One day while making a delivery, she stumbles upon an underground world of immigrant women in Grand Central station. This world is called the "Golden Palace". She finds a new friend in Lily - her alter ego. She also meets an American man named, Jack and falls for him. As Ah Na grapples onto the hope of a brighter future, the ghosts of her past soon catch up with her. Will Ah Na achieve her sense of place in the real world or will she be forever lost in the uncertainty of the past?

Their 4 year cross-country search and the hideous conspiracy they uncovered was made into this deeply personal documentary by his German friend and colleague Christian Bauer. The whole plot in this crazy comedy movie is a story about a geeky and nerdy guy called Polle, who lives in a little village named Snave, which is far out in the Danish countryside. Even though he has turned 30, he's is still living with his parents, and he's kind of an outsider in the little town. The only sort of "friends" he actually has, are three totally much more insane yokels named Heino, Jøgge and Knasti, who are always spending their time, doing live tough for poor Polle.
