Eden

The incessant exploration of the borders of our world banishes us further and further from its centre, just as the discovery of how our physical exterior functions has shifted its centre from the heart to the brain. The video entitled (Eden) plays with visual collusions, the representations of various different cultures reminiscences of our dreams, our myths, our desires, yearnings and anxieties.

Edith Piaf: A Passionate Life

This documentary about legendary French chanteuse Edith Piaf begins at her birth (which was helped along by a cop), travels through her turbulent romantic history, follows her to the pinnacle of her success and reports on her death. Piaf was queen of the torch song, her plaintive wail speaking volumes of the tragedy and joy she'd faced. Hers wasn't exactly, in the words of one of her famous songs, "La Vie En Rose," but it was quite a life.

Ed Sullivan's Rock 'n' Roll Classics: Vol. 2: Hits of 1968-1970

One of the most popular programs in television history, the Ed Sullivan Show brought established musicians and rising stars into homes every week. Standout acts such as the Beach Boys, The Carpenters and Supremes are included in this collection. Karen Carpenter makes an appearance playing the drums during a memorable performance of her hit song "We've Only Just Begun." Sixteen other performances round out this trip back to the 1960s and 70s.
