What is a family? Rosie O'Donnell looks at the many answers to this question in this documentary that features original songs and thoughtful kids musing on love and family. The show provides a less than moving portrait of the remarkable diversity of so called families today, including same-sex parents, mixed-heritage families, and stories of adoption. Animated songs and musical performances by kids and families spice up the festivities along with performances and recordings by artists including Ziggy Marley, Bonnie Raitt, Doris Day, Sweet Honey in the Rock, Frank Sinatra, Rosie O'Donnell and They Might Be Giants.

Through a long continuous take filmed on a cold November morning in Cumbria, UK. The video presents the spectator with a ‘real time’ phenomenological experience of change, transience and transformation. As the mist begins to clear more of the landscape is gradually perceived. The mist also works as a screen to both reveal and obscure the intensity of the suns light. Eventually the mist returns and once again the video space is changed.

Yukio is however haunted by nightmares and just when he starts to feel comfortable, his tragic past catches up to him with dire results.

Obituary is a North American death metal band formed in 1985 in Tampa, Florida under the name Executioner, then changed the name's spelling to Xecutioner, and later changed their name to Obituary. The band comprises vocalist John Tardy, drummer Donald Tardy, guitarists Trevor Peres and Ralph Santolla and bassist Terry Butler. The band is a fundamental act in the development of death metal music and one of the most successful bands in its genre.

Noise

In essence, this film is an audiovisual work. However, sound plays the leading role here to some extent, anticipating generating of images. At the same time, the film is also a play of imagination provoked by the sound. The noises seeping into the protagonist's flat are subject to his individual interpretation, offering random images which interact with each other.
