The Unborn

25 Jaar Leids Cabaret Festival
Het Leids Cabaret Festival is 25 jaar geleden opgezet door Harry Kies, als activiteit binnen een studentenvereniging. Om met name het maatschappelijk geëngageerde cabaret te stimuleren. Het succes was zo groot dat werd besloten om er een jaarlijks vervolg aan te geven. Bij een nieuwe generatie cabaretiers bleek behoefte aan een gedegen behartiging van niet alleen zakelijke, maar ook inhoudelijke belangen. Daaruit is het impresariaat Harry Kies Theaterprodukties ontstaan. De ruime ervaring die het in de afgelopen vijfentwintig jaar heeft opgebouwd, wordt graag gedeeld met (beginnende) cabaretiers en theatermakers. Harry Kies Theaterprodukties is er ontzettend trots op dat veel ex-delnemers het Leids Cabaret Festival nog steeds zo'n warm hart toedragen dat ze nagenoeg allemaal aanwezig zijn, op het toneel of in de zaal, om de liefde voor theater te delen met het publiek.

A chess columnist ends in prison when one of his columns is mistakenly seen as a subversive attack. From there he invents a game of war and strategy and a cellmate who escapes uses it initiating a real revolution.
Dose
This documentary is about the rangers who serve in the Lake Urmia area. They give water to local animals such as deer and help birds that fall into the water and cover their body with salt crystals. One of the rangers stays on an island in the middle of the lake and is unable to move his boat due to the high salt water. A boat comes to his aid at night. The birds of this lake are extinct due to the high salt content of the water.
