Sinking Away
This is one of my recently series work, "re-interpretation for the private films" which has been cited from old home movies. This film cited an anonymous film of Venice sightseeing tour which was shot in pre-war. A film where someone who does not know the place recorded a scene of a "sinking" city. Then I felt any film might disappear in the history.
Sketch Film #1
Sketch Film #1 (Tomonari Nishikawa, 2005, 3 min., super 8, silent, 18/24fps, b&w, USA) As a painter carries a sketchbook and practices drawing, I carried a Super 8 camera and shot frame by frame, as an everyday exercise to make animations of lines and shapes found in the public space. The entire film was edited in camera and hand-processed afterwards.

DJs congregated at San Francisco's Yerba Buena Center for the Arts for the 2000 event. This documentary captures the lectures, technological presentations, skratch demonstrations, beat juggling, battling, trick mixing and team presentations and includes appearances by The Invisible Skratch Piklz, P-Trix and others.
