Concert held on August 4, 5 and 6, 2008 at the Nippon Budōkan hall in Tokyo to commemorate both the Japanese theatrical release of Ponyo (2008) and the 25 years of musical collaboration between composer Joe Hisaishi and filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki.
Tone, an older man, drives from Germany to visit his son Grega and his daughter-in-law Masha. Though nobody talks about it, something horrible has happened. In attempt to ease their pain for a moment, Tone takes the young couple out for an ice-cream and so begins their drive around the countryside. On the road, Grega and Masha experience sudden changes of mood. They get aggressive, deeply saddened, suddenly cheerful, nervous, depressed... They are together but each on their own. And the gap between them is growing. Meanwhile, Tone drives them further away from home but no further from what has happened.

We encounter a man watching t.v. who becomes increasingly frustrated with an emergency announcement in another language, and leaves. Upon returning he sits in front of his t.v. and sees the show returning to it's regular broadcast. However, what the man missed from leaving the room is that there is a very contagious outbreak which is life threatening, and everyone should go to their local clinic for a vaccine.

Based upon Bram Stoker's short stories, Dracula's Guest follows the story of two young lovers, Bram and Elizabeth, who are forced by her father, the Admiral Murray, to take a one year probation from their relationship in order to determine whether their love is true. Meanwhile, the Count Dracula is in London searching for a new home and coincidentally, or not, comes across young Elizabeth at the train station after she's run away from home and her father's overbearing ways. Dracula, though, proceeds to kidnap her and take Elizabeth to his castle where he waits for her father's arrival to settle an ancient dispute. Meanwhile, Bram' friend Malcolm sets out to inform Bram of Elizabeth' kidnapping but he soon falls to Dracula's evil ways. And, upon finding his best friend dead Bram sets out across Europe to rescue his true love.
